HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM JINKY!

Wow!  I can’t believe the holidays are upon us already!  I’m missing the snow this year, however.  As I type this, I’m in the Philippines — visiting my family here for the first time in a year and a half.  I’ll be here for Christmas, and New Years, and for Dinigyang (which is sort of Iloilo’s version of Mardi Gras).

So much has changed!  My parents’ lives are more comfortable, especially since they no longer have to worry about their kids — we’ve all grown up!  My youngest sibling, Jhopet, is still in high school, but he has a girlfriend and is in a band.  Next in line, Pejee, is now a male model!  He’s even an extra on the Filipino soaps on TV!

My sister Michelle’s husband Renee is a sea man now, working on a tanker — and he’s gonna be gone till next fall!  So I’m hoping she’ll come back to the USA with me in February to stay for a few months.  (But even that won’t be easy…she runs the Asian office of Glass House Graphics!)

I know it’s been awhile since Michelle and I posted photos of ourselves for you — so here’s a bunch to celebrate the holidays!

JINKY'S BACK WITH HER ALL-NEW BANZAI GIRL ANNUAL -- AND MORE!

At long last, Arcana Studio has released my full-color BANZAI GIRLS ANNUAL 2009, jam-packed with 40 pages of non-stop fun.  Besides the all-new story “The Terror of…Tikbalang!”, there’s a bonus pinup gallery, plus some Banzai cartoons by the terrific Tina Francisco, plus a massive 22-page photo gallery stuffed with pics of my sister Michelle and me, dressed in lingerie, bikinis, schoolgirl outfits, cheerleader uniforms, maid costumes, and a whole lot more.  This is the collection of photos that fans have been telling me for years they wished we would do, so here it is, as last.  Sometimes wishes DO come true!

If you haven’t spotted it in your friendly neighborhood comics shop, this new BANZAI GIRLS ANNUAL is available directly from me, personalized and signed however you want.  It’s cover priced at $6.95 and available through my online store if you CLICK HERE!

ROOM AND BOARDS

Sorry for the lack of recent updates here on my main page, but I’ve not been idle in the least.   For starters, if you don’t check my Message Boards at least a few times per week, you’re missing A LOT of great art and conversation.  In recent weeks I’ve created bunches of brand-new art that’s so far only been enjoyed by fans on the Message Board!

What’s more, I’ve been filling everyone in on Con appearances, new releases, and other goodies practically every day.  New photos, too.  Have you been a part of it all, or are you missing out?

It’s not too late to become a valuable member of my Message Board.  Check it out by clicking HERE!

I’ve also become a full-fledged gold member of the website HEROMORPH — located at here.  For fans interested in sexy super heroine art, it’s the place to be, for 2D art, for 3-D Poser art, and even for full-fledged photo manipulations at which some of its contributors totally excel.

As of this moment, I’ve posted well over a dozen pieces up there and plan to put up dozens more, some of which you may only find there!  Here’s the banner link to their site….

This is probably the biggest offering of new art prints that i’ve EVER done.  In the past, my online store offered prints of a half-dozen or so poster images from my comic books.  This is different.  These are ALL-NEW full-color 13” x 19” prints I’ve created this month, for sale exclusively through the Jinky Coronado’s MegaMall and artandcomics.com websites.

I’ll feature them large enough for drooling here, but please order the large-format color prints from my store!  Here are the new images!

AVALON HIGH: BOOK 3 AND MORE STORIES

As many of you are aware, I’ve been busy much the past year illustrating Meg Cabot’s third AVALON HIGH: CORONATION manga graphic novel, entitled “Hunter’s Moon.”  With TokyoPop going through a bunch of editorial compressions and changes, that meant a lot of new points of view and a whole lot of revisions!

Well, the revisions are finally finished, and the book is ready!  Harper-Collins (TokyoPop’s co-publisher) has announced a September 2009 release.

Soon after, I hope to have signed copies available here on my website/online store.  I still have copies of the first two AVALON HIGH: CORONATION volumes available, as well, for only $9.99 each.  (Volume one is already out of print from the publisher!)

MICHELLE AND HER BABY

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who was able to contribute and who offered their condolences to Michelle and her family over losing a beloved child. At this point we’ve reached $4,500.00 — roughly the halfway point - -and we’d appreciate donations continuing, really helpful at this holiday time.

Thank you,

Mason Johnson, Webmaster
